Hotell Gästis, Varberg, Sweden

This is a very special place. Politics aside - I loved it. It's some sort of nostalgic ambition that has driven the owner. About him: back in the 1960's he was a young idealist, communist. Then he became a reading nerd. After that an entrepreneur with at least one hotel on his conscious. He's cured you could say. 

A very exciting place, books, paintings and propaganda posters from the Soviet hay days. The spa is spectacular. It's a copy of an old Russian spa from Saint Petersburg where Lenin used to go. If you happen to pass this town, give Hotel Gästis a try!

Oh, the guy on the title Blip is famous old punk rocker in Sweden - Stefan Sundström. We talked a bit and he seemed to enjoy his stay.
