Friday the 13th

Not a bad day,  considering the date. 

A stroll round A H grounds. Quite cool under the trees. 

Chatted to Richard who said that they werent taking bookings for lunch or evening. This is partly due to the fact that they still have so  many weddings but also because they have a reduction of staff and it's hard to find replacements.  The chef and some of the kitchen staff has moved to another hotel in the Lake District and many of the  general staff who were furloughed have got other jobs  (in Tesco etc) 
Fingers crossed normal service will be resumed in the not too distant future.  It's the only decent place for miles.

Trying to work out what the weather will be like over the next 4 days .. a trip over the border is planned. Always nicer if its not raining!
