Dancing in the Rain

I went early to the Quays so I could get a 3k swim in. I did just over that and although I was a bit tired I loved it. I changed into a dry costume and had a quick snack and a drink before going back in the water to join in the Colour Swim. It was part of the Quays Festival. The House of Ghetto are a dance group who choreographed a dance for us to move to music played by the Manchester School of Samba. We moved as one in a slick fusion of dance and swimming…..well, not quite. We laughed, we splashed, we sort of moved in time to the music…we had a great time. It was something different and everyone enjoyed themselves.

This pic is of the main dancer who went through all the moves. I was mesmerised by his face, his eyebrows and false lashes were perfect. He was a lovely guy.

We (Alexandra, Christine, Mel and I) then watched the aerial dancing of four abseiling dancers on the Lowry tower. We then went for a little walk around Media City before heading home.

I can’t decide whether to go for a swim in the morning or have a lie in…probably the latter lol
