Egg and Spoon

After breakfast a chicken casserole put into the slow cooker which left me plenty  of time for my sewing.  Top layer rows mostly done now just a few to add and then I can join them together.
 
Heard squeals of delight from the Bunnies Shelf. 
We are so eggcited they said we have been invited to the Egg and Spoon Race – a very prestigious event.  For once Bossy Boots forgot to be bossy and was as eggcited as the rest.
Well they set off in plenty of time and arrived at the event track.
Bossy Boots reasserted himself and eggplained that they had a box.
Come this way Bunnies said an eggstremely efficient gentleman.
 Mm it looks a bit like an egg box  Basil eggclaimed  - Never mind said Betsy lets just go and enjoy the race.
Sadly not a lot happened and the bunnies felt decidedly underwhelmed.  Ah well Bunnies you can’t win  them all.

KG did a lot of cutting of shrubs today so he was kept busy and luckily it was not too hot.
Rather a dull start but we did have some sunshine
