Yes, back to work in the Office this morning. 

The place is a bit strange at the moment. The Manager is stuck at home with her foot in a cast after breaking it. The Boss is away on holiday. Another member of the team is off ill (not the Plague). The person spending most time there this week has been the person who just started last month. 

I had phoned her on Monday just to chew the fat without knowing all of these details, so I am glad I did. It must be awkward being left in there on your own when you have so little experience of the job. 

The weather forecast was positive enough to have me on my bike to whizz down to the Office, and for once they got it right. In fact it was a bit sweaty coming home at 19c, in the sun and uphill. 

I got my Blip while out on my usual mid-afternoon walkabout, intended to stave off the urge for a nap.
