The Quarry

We had a wander round Shrewsbury, this lovely statue was in The Quarry, a garden designed by the late Percy Thrower.

We took in Shrewsbury Castle, see extra, which must be the most benign castle we have ever seen.

After this we headed out to Ludlow, another quaint town, for a wander round and lunch, the famous Ludlow tapas.......
