Reed bunting

I've only got another week before I hand back my laptop and Blackberry and devote myself to - who knows? Travel, for certain; birdwatching, without doubt; maybe some part-time work in the future.

It's going to be busy right to the end but I've got a couple of days' leave to take so I took advantage of the sunny weather this afternoon and went to a couple of RSPB reserves near Glastonbury. At Greylake the birds were coming to a feeder near the car, so I snapped a few shots while eating my lunch and listening to George Osborne.

Apologies to my blip pals - there just hasn't been time to keep up lately, but that should change over the coming months. I'm aiming to get back into it, starting now.
