Not a Banksy

I’m not sure if the city’s wannabe street artists knew that this was a door belong to Edinburgh Art College and decided to spray their individual portfolios on to it. I dare say it didn’t win them a place.

At the moment , the Art C ollege is hosting the Edinburgh Book Festival which has been moved from its usual site in Charlotte Square Gardens. I was tempted to go in this morning on my way home from delivering a tea loaf to daughter#1 in the gallery, but decided to visit when it was less busy.

There was good news in a letter from the council downgrading my council tax banding, retrospective to 2010- a victory for common sense.
