Shawlands
I recently interviewed twenty nurses who were working in acute settings during the pandemic. They spoke about the relentlessness of it all , as waves 1, 2 and 3 hit, the moral dilemmas they faced and the consequences it has had for them personally, and in terms of their mental health. They also spoke about the weirdness of the clapping and then how public opinion seemed to shift later on. Good to see these little reminders in the street of the first wave, which I guess were expressions of gratitude. Pleased to see most people are still masked-up in and around Glasgow too.
