…badly maintained pier

and an accident that threw me over the handlebars

The big gap two planks in was badly repaired with a long piece of wood held in only by sealant, which when my front wheel rode over dropped through the pier onto the sand below

My front wheel went through the gap and I went over the handlebars

I wouldn't care - I never ride on this piece of junk pier, just got a bit distracted by the view, normally I stop and walk a bit then get my flask of coffee out
