The harvest is in

At last this winter barley is in, this is the route to the village shop and a footpath which is not very wide as you’re just in a tyre groove.  The result is that on wet days (of which many this year) you get soaked.  

Spent a lot of day being told by IT that I had to strip my phone down to prove the camera was faulty.  By the time I’d reloaded everything it was nearly evening and this picture shows that if anything rhs camera blur is even worse.  So I am getting a new phone but not an upgrade.  The trick with corporate IT is to make sure they don’t sneakily downgrade you.  Once at the BBC when I’d broken a Blackberry, I was anticipating a delicious new smart phone and got handed an ancient brick by smirking IT.
