Cooling off

Very mixed weather today. Really hot one moment then blowing a gale the next.
Ordered some flowers from M&S as a thank you gift for mum. Turned into a real trauma as I didn’t realise that she was going away for the weekend. Tried to organise a safe place - porch at the side of the house. I received a photo of them on the front doorstep just before 3pm. My brother got home a couple of hours later and I called him. No sign of any flowers. I did ask him to check with the neighbours either side but no joy. At about 7pm he texted me to say that they had arrived. One of the neighbours did have them after all. Stressful or what?
