What a Day

Started with a dropped can of cocoa while baking - quite the mess! Then my friend text to say she'd be an hr early. I rushed to walk the dog, tripped, dropped my phone, smashed the screen! However, the day improved... another friend arrived and asked me to be her bridesmaid. Totally unexpected. Absolutely honoured. Lovely to have the thought of happy, lovely plans for the upcoming year. Don't like wishing my life away but at the same time, roll on next July!
