Heron
Took Ali to Vets for a check over. Turns out she's got a UTI, so now on antibiotics for a week. Good job we know our dogs so well as we just felt she hasn't been her usual self but couldn't put a finger on what it was.
She loved her first try at 'Hoopers'. We had a 121 and she did everything asked of her, next week we will join a class, which should be fun.
After hoopers we (Ali and I) met carolbutterfly at a local reservoir. It was a stressful start, having to download an App to pay for the car park, the machine didn't take cash, and wouldn't accept cards, the only way to pay was through the app. So frustrating, and if you didn't have a smartphone, well, that was tough! That's 20 wasted minutes of our lives we won't get back. Grrrr!
The reservoirs and canal appeared empty of wildlife when we set out. Eventually the Heron seemed quite happy to pose for us, and even flew over our heads (extra). We had a spectacular 'Red Arrows' style flypast by Geese, managed to tick off another of the camera club's 'Chairman's challenge' off our lists. We had sun, wind, dark clouds and a light splattering of rain to keep us wondering just how far it was safe to walk. All in all a very pleasant time was had.
