In the dog house

I’m in the bad books today. I was in the garden this morning and could smell danger in the garden next door. I started barking and running around and then, this is the bad bit, I scrambled over the fence into our neighbour’s garden and chased the danger away. It was a fox. My human was shouting at me but I had to chase the fox away. Unfortunately they don’t have a side gate so I chased the fox across the road and into another garden. My human came running after me but I kept running. I then got a bit tired and decided that I should go home. Now both my humans were yelling at me. I was grabbed and carried home. I don’t think that they appreciated me protecting them.
Then in my walk I went into a muddy pond (see picture) so I had to go into the river to clean off.
I think that I need to be better behaved tomorrow.
