Ahoy!

A great friend who is having work done on her kitchen has rented a house boat for the summer via AirB’nB.  Parked on the River opposite Chiswick Eyot and beautifully furnished she decided it was a way of having her holiday without going anywhere.  Her 11 year old son is deeply unimpressed by the wifi.  

We ate on deck and enjoyed this glorious sunset.  Because they are opposite the Eyot (island) the river is of course in two channels and this is the quieter narrower one.  Canada geese landed in squawking batches and the Eyot was full of ducks (and apparently foxes). 

We drove home late, Vik heroically driving.
