Heron on the River

It was very hot today. Elizabeth and I did a fast five mile walk and then we went on a bike ride. I was overcome by the heat on the ride and we had to have my husband come and get me. I had not had enough to drink, but have hydrated all day and feel fine. A good lesson!
Grateful for…Jake for pouring cold water on me and getting me a cold towel for my neck…..leftovers for dinner….an overnight in the bunk room with Jake.
