As beautiful and picturesque as Prague is in the inner city districts, most of my time last year consisted of the view you see here. I took this picture halfway through the tedious activity of photographing each page of my class notes from the last three years of study. Looking out the window, I remembered the first time I moved into this room, and the green of the trees was the first thing that caught our eyes. Though it may not look like much, observing the changes of the leaves and the surrounding bushes kept me going when the feeling of stagnancy prevailed the mood of remaining indoors nearly 24/7. Sometimes I guess it’s the little things that make us feel most at home.
