A new season is coming!

There were quite a few toadstools around in the damp, mossy part of Reelig wood when I was there a couple of days ago. It felt a bit exciting to see that they had arrived again..... maybe a bit like when you first see snowdrops appearing at the end of winter.

Here in the Highlands, Summer is a very brief affair - something I found difficult to accept for quite a few years. I think I pretty much accept it now, if not quite embrace it!
