A Good Surprise

After a strenuous and hot day at work, P & I decided to walk to our favourite local restaurant and beer garden for an early dinner. But they don't take reservations for their outside tables, and when we arrived, we found ourselves at the end of a long queue that did not move at all for 10 minutes. We decided to go home.

On the way, we noticed that another restaurant had re-opened after almost two years (it had closed even before Covid-19).

We went in, got a table on the terrace, enjoyed a delicious meal and this view over the Rhine valley.

A really good surprise. We will be back.
