Wharncliffe Woods
We had a longer walk this morning through Wharncliffe Woods and back along the Edge. I love the old native woods along the crest of the ridge. There is a mixture of native trees of different ages with some areas of devastation as well as new growth and young saplings. It looks like the wood is not carefully managed and left to its own devises.
Completed the UPP folio ready for posting tomorrow, as well as a couple of hours in the garden. A lovely summer day, warm but not too hot.
