Birmingham Central Library

It isn't often I'm in the City Centre 2 days running, but I took the opportunity to take a look at the new Central Library, now nearing completion. Birmingham was rather lacking in hallmark buildings other than the Rotunda until the new Bull Ring development and the Selfridges building. This is the other end of the City Centre, adjacent to the International Convention Centre, Symphony Hall and the Repertory Theatre. I'll reserve judgement until this is finally open; I'm not sure quite what I think at the moment.
