More Murk

Awake in the small hours to hear the wind whistling in the rigging - a quick check of the phone anchor app and fitfully back asleep. An hour or so later I see the neighbouring boat’s anchor light incredibly close. I leap out my berth. It’s the reflection of my own instrument lights. Jumpy or what.
So morning comes, cups of tea, full wet weather gear, and the first challenge - getting that anchor lifted without any crew to motor forward. But I got it done and even eventually summoned up courage to get both sails out. It’s the first time though that I really wished I had windscreen wipers on the sprayhood.
Into Tobermory and it’s incredibly peaceful - the pontoons are full so I nab a mooring. After recovering, ashore for an enjoyable couple of beers and a read of the paper in the Mishnish. Back to the boat, but the mobile reception is non existent and apparently season tickets have just gone on sale so I need to head back ashore. Lemme think - that Macgoghans looks like it’ll have WiFi…
