Patterns

Got out for a short walk early this morning at a little waterfall along  the Enoree River about an hour from home.   The trail was shady and no one was there for most of the time we walked which was probably about 45 minutes.   It just got too hot too fast.  

The composition prompt today was patterns so I watched the water for sparkle patterns and other ideas for patterns. This was my favorite.    The water was moving over some rocks at this spot and I really liked the colors.

When we were leaving a family with small children came to the beach area at the falls and the laughter of the youngsters as they walked into the water was good music!    So glad the parents are showing them the joy of nature!
