Down but not out

We had a walk this afternoon in some thin rain. D says the ‘lifter’ will sort this flattened wheat, if the combine doesn’t.

After a recent diagnosis of breast cancer, I’m grateful that modern medicine and surgery should hopefully be able to sort me out too.  There’s more uncertainty after an appointment today, but hopefully going in the right direction. 

I enjoyed an invigorating swim beforehand, up and down, up and down. It was good to feel strong.
