The kayaking is on

Ottawacker Jr. is discovering various ways of posing for photos. To be perfectly fair to him, he gets this from his parents, neither of whom have yet mastered the duck pout, the looking-beyond-the-camera smoulder, or the hands-behind-head grin. Mrs Ottawacker tends to go for the "hands-by-her-sides-and-stare-at-the-camera" approach, while I opt for either the "hide-my-double-chin-and-hope-for-the-best" look, or the raucous laughter look. Neither of which are very successful.

So, it should come as no surprise that Ottawacker Jr. is experimenting. We have had the "tongue-out-and-L-for-loser" look, the "hurry-up-and-get-it-over-with" forced smile, and now this. This I call the "someone-has-farted-and-it-stinks" look. It has lasted a good couple of weeks now.
