The holiday hideaway.

Woke early and, as always, got up reluctantly but once I clean my teeth I seem to become reconciled.  Did my exercises first thing which always feels good and after feeding the birds settled to a leisurely breakfast.  Cleaned the kitchen than went back into sofa mode.  Bought snowdrops which I forgot about yesterday.  I think that's me done.
A nice cheery young bloke delivered the groceries.  Stocked up with Marmite now.  I was running low.  Filled the car with petrol and went to the Pillars for milk and other odds and ends.  It was raining by then after a dry morning with some sun. Photographed a little cottage there that I'm fond of.  It's part of the Pillars and now a holiday let I think.  They have an area for camping too and rather classy loos and showers which are attached to the shop and cafe.  Not a bad place to stay as you have yummy organic food a few steps away.
Came home pleased that for once I haven't photographed in the garden.  Loaded the car with prickly prunings  for the recycling tomorrow and  carted the remainder down the garden close to the car getting soaked in the process.  I've booked another slot for Friday and can then begin cutting down the holly.  Prickly too but I don't think it's quite as lethal as this berberis.
