I have the rest of the week off work, so today I decided to go to Richmond for a walk in the beautiful warm Spring sunshine grey and cold. I enjoyed it though, stomping along by the river, through Petersham, then for a long walk through Richmond Park.
I spotted this bird high up in a tree, but I couldn't see what it was as it was quite a distance away, so I zoomed with the zoomy thing to get a closer look. I'm not actually sure what type of bird of prey it is though, something 'hawky'? It's not a very clear photo unfortunately as it was so high up, but I'm wondering if there are any Bill Oddie types on here who could tell me?
