Launch day!

My partner Terri has been longing to get back to rowing for some time - it’s been a challenge since she uses a wheelchair. She’s worked hard to find a boat and a moorage that she could use, and today with the help of her crew (Gwenlyn and Shawn) she was able to go out on the water.

I was working so couldn’t be there at the launch - and frankly water sports aren’t my thing - but I took this picture as she was about to set off this morning. The extra is with her friend Gwenlyn.

It was such a happy day for her, and her friends who helped make it happen - I’m really proud of her!
