Smiling Eyes

Claire and Matt are here on a literal flying visit. Claire came home to Los Angeles from Vasser last night and the two of them flew up here first thing in the morning. Out of the nine days she will be at home before going back to New York, Matt is going to be gone for most of the. They're flying back to L.A. tomorrow morning. We're delighted to see her for whatever time she has.

We're all trooping over to Dana and Jim's for dinner tonight where we will view Jim's new wine fridge and their beautifully remodeled bathroom. Yet another reason why it is so great to have them so close. We are pretty good at throwing together family fiestas and it is always a pleasure....

Anne and Harold are leaving tomorrow morning also, so it will be very quiet around here again.
