Jumping for Joy

It's my beloved wife Janet's 60th Birthday today, and also our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I save money on cards and only have to forget one date each year...

After the champagne and patisserie breakfast, we had an impromptu Blip Meet to Newark Park, where Sheol, cathy_lovett, brentastic, Sarahsnaphappy, Happy_Janwen and I had a splendid picnic, drawing attention from other visitors as we laid out our table cloth on the picnic benches and poured the champers. Yes, Blip has become a family thing. There's a Blip Meet Group in the extras.

Later, back at home, we did the barbecue thing, and Cheryl came over with Ivy (extra). There was also a longhorn beetle, which for the sake of a Tiny Tuesday I caught as it took off from the dahlias (extra). There was a showing of the most excellent birthday videos, which took the fantastic shows from my own birthday and took them to the next level. Someone should have been a director instead of a solicitor...

There are loads of pictures to go through, but champagne, beer and whisky mean I can barely do the required Doulingo thing... Id' say it was going to be an early night but it's already ten...
