Bridge over Alwen Reservoir

This is the view across Alwen Reservoir where we walked today. Fabulous walk around the lake with very varied scenery, from very mossy woods to open moorland. Some of our party enjoyed a swim when the sun came out during our picnic.

We had a delicious English breakfast this morning and another great dinner tonight. Very glad we chose this area of Wales, just outside Snowdonia, as it’s very quiet.
