Sunshiny day

I sold the exhibition in Fanjeaux to S so well that this afternoon we set off in 34C heat to see it. I had not expected this to work so well that ::cough:: we bought a painting. I'm not blipping it because we red-spotted it and will go back to collect it when the exhibition ends in September. This gives us time to find a place on our crowded walls. "Oh, we'll just get rid of the  Matisse," said S. "This is much nicer." I think we will find space for both ...

On the way back I swerved into a driveway because I spotted some sunflowers. Hence my blip. Extra: another taste of the beautifully presented exhibition.

Back home, we noted that the village bar behind our house had found a means of opening despite the pass sanitaire: takeaway, as in you can't go in the bar but you can buy a bottle and take it two metres away to drink it. An impromptu and very convivial evening of wine and pizzas with neighbours followed.
