Glittering green

I’m in Woodstock today for the ‘annual’ ( we started the tradition last year!) meet up with 2 friends who I met 20 + years ago in Belgium . Before I moved west we met up more regularly as one lived in Essex near me and the other in Horsham. Now we meet for longer quality time- on today’s agenda - lunch , a walk in the grounds of Blenheim Palace, drinks and dinner at the hotel, breakfast and visiting the house tomorrow .
Lovely walk this afternoon and catch up: we’ve seen each other on zoom but not for a few weeks. In the interim year one of us has become a granny which really puts us into a certain demographic!
