The river Avon is tidal at this point

And was looking pretty full when I was walking towards the city centre this morning, on my way to Fareshare. I thought the reflections looked nice. This blue bridge can be used by pedestrians to get over to the Wells road.  I’m racking my brain to work out what else it’s for - I’ve never seen a train or a car going over it.  It’s certainly been painted a nice colour.  The Victorian brickwork is around what used to be railway yards, then was supposed to have a 10,000 seater arena built there - that was cancelled.  There’s some building going on there now, recently started.  As far as I can tell it’ll be housing and a hotel. There‘S been a lot of bad feeling about it all.
