Burford Today
We needed to go to Witney today for various reasons, including buying some replacement screws for the bunk bed. Yes the story goes on. When we fitted the mattresses I noticed some screws were protruding through the upper bed slats. Quite dangerous and not what you need to see in a child's bed. I had to take them out and wanted to try some shorter screws to keep the slats in place. I only needed 3 but had to buy 200. They didn't all work anyway as the support batten had been cracked by the previous screws.
On the way home we decided to stop off in Burford. The traffic was heaving but most of it was driving through and there was plenty of room in the car park. I decided to take a shot of the traffic going down the hill and caught this kit car coming the other way. I looked up the registration - it is an MEV Exocet, apparently the cheapest and easiest to build kit car in the world.
