The village

The flowers at the village hall are looking good - two window boxes and a circular bed at the front of the hall. 

I was out reading meters this morning. Working locally generally takes longer - chatting time being taken into account. But then that is often when useful information can be gained about house names, who lives where and who has moved away, the weather..... I enjoy finding out about local history and some of the older residents have wonderful stories to tell. As long as the job list is not too long it's good to stand for a while and have a yarn.
