Fire's Destruction

We drove home through the area where there was a huge destructive fire last year. "The cities of Phoenix, Talent, Detroit, and Gates in Oregon were substantially destroyed by the Almeda Drive and Santiam Fires respectively." (News release)  Today the area was being logged and there were flaggers holding back traffic while the equipment crossed the road; it wasn't too bad today, we only had a 10 minute wait.


We are home safely, but Little Miss is pulling at me to read her a story....so I am done for the night. Good night.
