Whose barking?

The puppies sometimes pay attention to things other then the mischief that they themselves are creating.  It had been a long day for them, we started at the vet for the last in the shot series.  Willa is now 10..3 pounds and Persephone is 5.9 pounds, real big dogs I know.  I don't think little Ms. Persephone will ever be big, she is full of sass for sure.  Today I told her to kennel, a command we mastered a few weeks ago, only to have her give a little yip and growl at me!  I think it's good she's so tiny with that much sass a big dog would be hard to handle.  After the shots we all took a good long nap, I may have even joined.  Willa figured out how to successfully get on and off the bed using the stairs this week, Persephone can sometimes get up but not back down yet.  It's a work in progress.  We did all nap on the bed together, made my heart happy - at peace.  After our nap I left the back door open as I tend to do and another dog in the neighborhood started to bark.  This is the first time both babies showed any interest in another dog barking near and this cute little picture is the result.
