RIPKane

As Scotland moves to something pretty close to pre-Covid normality, it seems appropriate to post a photo of this memorial to a young local man that I pass frequently. He died on a night out with mates in the early days of the first lockdown when, as I understand, he slipped down a very steep wooded slope, straight into the North Esk at this point. He was clearly a big loss for many people to judge from the local FB comments when he died and the work that has gone into this memorial. 

After the morning dog walk, today saw a lot of intense work, but encouraging progress.
