High Key
I was not intending to blip a mono image today, the High Key effect which Carolina suggests just didn’t seem likely to result in anything I would particularly like. But surprisingly, I quite like this - it looks like a line drawing rather than a photograph.
Whilst J went into the hospital, rather than sitting in the car I walked up the hill to Halton village. At the top sits St Mary’s Church, from which there are fantastic views of the Mersey valley, the Welsh hills, the Cheshire sandstone ridge and the top of Liverpool’s Anglican cathedral (if you know where to look).
Walking back down I noticed a lady dead-heading the flowers in her window box, which looked very impressive. I asked if she’d mind if I took a photo. She was very happy with that. So that’s the extra.
It’s a rather surprising corner of Runcorn.
