ME OLD COCK SPARRER*

I spent most of the morning in bed after waking with a horrible headache. Eternal thanks to whoever invented triptans. Before they were available I would have expected to write off at least the next two days. As it is I've caught up on the shopping and laundry and then B and I went off for a walk and a late fish & chip lunch sitting in the sun at the Marina.

I'm very taken with the fact that my new camera has a "birdwatching" setting, which does clever things with the zoom and focus and means I don't have to try to sneak up quite so close to the little blighters.
