The Egret is landing...

A trip to the local post office got me out into the rain this morning - one of those days when you need waterproofs to go out in, and sunglasses to come home in!  Heavy rain was forecast for a lot of today but it didn't materialise and we seemed to have dodged the worst of the weather!

So had a little wander along the creek again to see what was about at low tide... seagulls and a lone egret were all I saw!  The earlier rain had made some of the paths a little slippy so I wished I'd worn better walking shoes so that curtailed any further exploring!

I'm now being stared at by a rather large woodpigeon through the window... it must be dinner time!!
