In the nick of time

The day started showery ...... nipped into the garden between showers to try to get a blip .... just in case! Good thing I did!

Spotted this bee making the most of the break in the rain ....... hope you like it :-)

By midday the rain had become heavier & more persistent ..... it looked as if it was set in for the day ...... our afternoon walk was looking increasingly unlikely!

It finally stopped at around 6pm (18:00) ..... we waited to see if it was going to start again ..... by 6.30 (18:30) it was still dry .... there was even some blue sky & sunshine!

We decided to risk it & went for a short walk 'up the road' ...... I did take the camera but, although it enjoyed the walk, it never even came out of the bag! It was lovely to get out with everywhere smelling so fresh after the rain :-)
