A Good Covering

Our Monday afternoon photography group did a trip to Fairlie, not to photography the snow which had fallen yesterday, but to do some product/retail photography.  S was hosting today, she came up with a challenge for us, something we have never done.  She rang to retail outlets in the township and asked if we could come into their shops and photograph - we had three challenges within each shop.  We now have to sort out three of our photos from each place and present what we think relates best to those challenges.   Will be interesting.....I also set myself a personal challenge, I decided to use my 50mm with aperture between f/1.4 - f/2.8.  I haven't loaded them yet, a job for tomorrow.
Further to that, the retailers would like us to put them on their Facebook page/website.
Usually it is only an afternoon, but since we were travelling we set off mid morning, had lunch in Fairlie, them we split into two groups and did our challenge of half an hour in each shop.
Once done we took a wee drive to do some snow landscape photography before heading home.
A fabulous outing.
