Baby Shower the 2nd

This was my 2nd baby shower but 1st one Iv actually attended as DN1'2 was a virtual one due to lockdown.

I spend the 1st few hours of the day making food and blowing up balloons (the pump didn't work!) and scraping all my fresh nails varnish off knotting them!!

But then the fun began. Daughter Number 2 arrived in her incredibly flamboyant dress - the only piece of maternity clothing she has bought!!!! She did so well to help prepare for the day and stay on her feet.

Her bestie baked for days and did an amazing job on the food display and organised games.

We had to dodge the showers for the best part of the day but it was a pleasure to be part of her friend group. Matty was beautifully behaved and loved being surrounded by lots of smiling girls.

I met up with a friend who was my best friend but hadn't seen her for 11 years after her loyalties where tested after my divorce. We had a hug and it was actually really nice to see her. It was her house that DN2's cat went missing from so much of the afternoon was spent talking about his anazing return.

I had to drag myself away from the beauty of this party to attend a surprise 30th up the road. A very stark contrast.... a noisy social club with a loud band, full of people I didn't know and Mr Ws ex wife, a banging toilet door and hurting feet!!!
