Almost Ready

This building is next to the one where my condo is. It’s been under construction for over a year. For a large part of last year the work was at a standstill. Now it’s almost ready for occupancy. Five of the apartments are already rented at $3500 a month! Each unit is one room wide and three levels with two sets of stairs. The ground floor has a one car garage and a small bedroom and bath. The middle floor is living room, kitchen and dining room and no bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms each with its own bath. I finally got to tour one of the apartments yesterday. They are nicely appointed with hardwood floors throughout. Our new neighbors will be younger than most of the residents in my complex. Ours is not age restricted but many of the residents are older. All the units are single level and most of the upper units have elevator access.
