Sunday: Courgettes

Rain when we got up but it eased off and we had a mostly cloudy day.
I’ve started watching the new series of “The Curse of Oak Island” on Channel 5 catch-up, it’s fascinating, it combines use of high tech modern analysis equipment with ancient objects which may be linked to The Knights Templar, Freemasonry and maybe even a Spanish galleon of treasure!
Weather drier but cold and windy, ventured out a few times but everything is very wet.
This afternoon I watched “This Beautiful Fantastic”  - the weather is pretty rubbish here but this heartwarming film certainly raises a smile :-))
Decided to cut all the courgettes which were of a decent size to give the plants a chance to recover and to send energy into the emerging fruit.
Courgette count = 14, from 4 plants - the slugs got the 5th one :-((
