Changeable

Had an early Zoom with Mr H - he should have been home this weekend, of course. Still, only 19 days to go now, he informs me.

Last night I checked the forecast and saw a rain-free morning but thunder and lightning in the afternoon. Looked again this morning and it had changed to just rain in the afternoon. Decided against going to the allotment, but then the sun came out. So went up anyway - met our old friend Pat en route so we exchanged news, some good, some sad (it seems Willie the Vod passed away yesterday). Managed to reinsert the replenished strimmer spool, and it worked! Finished strimming the paths, in a rough and ready sort of way. Then noticed the towering hedges.....

Am really impressed by my tiny oak tree. Look at all those leaves! I am usually useless at tagging on Blip but have actually gone back and tagged the previous shots, so that you can see progress.
