Another Water Walk

We had a nice walk by the canal this afternoon, after our overnight guests had gone. Spent a while watching this dragonfly skitting about - laying eggs we think. Just a few water lily flowers are out - very beautiful as ever.

We noticed that the swan family have moved their nest - not sure why. Didn't get a very nice picture of them so not included one. 

Good to get out. I've realised that I am now starting to go a bit stir crazy.  I had such plans for my retirement and I'm starting to resent not getting on with them all now. Still, next week sees the start of one project which might make me feel a bit better...
